I have a very special announcement today! I’ve mentioned before about wanting to do a travel nurse assignment in March. Well, as a result of a great interview (that I thought I had completely bombed) and some hustle, I’ll be leaving a lot sooner than I thought. Next month, I’ll be moving to Denver, Colorado!
I’m so, so excited. A little info about travel nursing: Nurses work for a specific travel nurse agency, who will staff them to a hospital. The nurse can pick where he or she wants to work out of a list of places where there is a need. Most contracts are 13 weeks long and you can usually extend it at the end if things are working out. My contract in Denver will be 13 weeks, and I’m hoping to extend it for as long as I can!
After feeling stagnant and having raging wanderlust since coming home in July, this is exactly what I need. I can’t wait to ski, hike, drink awesome beer, meet new people, and explore a new to me area of the U.S.
If I have any Denver people reading, feel free to get in contact with me so we can meet up!
What should be on my Denver bucket list?!
